How to Place an Order
Add items to your shopping cart or wish list by clicking on the "Add to Cart" or "Add to Wish List" button on the product page. Wish lists will not place it on order, but will be saved for possible future purchases. Click on the "Quick Order" button for quick order entry by product number. Your order summary can always be accessed by clicking on the "Shopping Cart" icon located at the top of the page. You can also proceed to checkout from this point.
To speak to a representative, call our customer service department on our toll free number during regular business hours - 1-800-514-4441. After business hours, you can leave your order on our voice mailbox, or, request a return call from our customer service department.
Payment Methods
1. Credit Cards: We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Please fill out all appropriate information in the "Credit Card Information" area of the order form. When ordering by phone, be sure to have your charge card with you.
Please note: For all charge card orders that request a FUTURE SHIP date, we will charge your account at the time your order is received and processed. Your order is then held and shipped during the week of your request.
2. If you wish to pay with a check or money order, please call our customer service department on our toll free number during regular business hours - 1-800-514-4441 to place your order. Your order is then shipped after payment has been received.
3. C.O.D. Orders: Sorry C.O.D. orders are not accepted.
RETURNED CHECK FEE:
A fee will be charged on any checks returned by the bank.
SALES TAX:
Sales tax will be charged on all New York State and Massachusetts purchases unless a resale certificate is on file.
SHIPPING: (We do not ship to foreign countries)
We'll ship your order the fastest way possible
Small items (such as seed packets) are shipped via USPS. Please include your postal address for this purpose. Larger items are shipped via UPS or USPS. We will need the name of your road and house number (even if it is not part of your regular postal address), to make it possible for UPS to locate you. Please include your Zip Code and telephone number on your order and any correspondence, so that we can contact you if necessary.
Please note: If you are ordering bulbs, live annual or vegetable plants, we will begin shipping southern states first, as early as January 3rd for some products. Please refer to the specific plant or bulb description for more detailed information. Regrettably, we cannot ship any bulb or live plant material to APO or FPO locations or Puerto Rico and some other specific areas.
Also, some gardening accessories, bulbs and live plant material are shipped directly from the manufacturer or grower, and will arrive separately from your seed order. Be sure to put a street address and telephone number on your order for these products.

Additional charges may occur on some items where noted and for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. Sorry, no transplant shipments can be made to: Arizona, California, Oregon or Washington. Sorry, no shipments made to foreign countries.
IMPORTANT: We need your complete mailing address for prompt delivery of your order. If you have a P.O. Box, make sure you give us your street number as well. If your shipping address is different than your billing address, please be sure fill out both sections on the order form.
RETURN/REFUND POLICY:
See our refund policy below. Requests for refunds must be made one year from date of purchase. Over payments in the amount of $1.00 or more will be reimbursed using the same method of payment used for your order (check/charge). A credit voucher will be issued for those overpayments under $1.00. Please include your order transaction number (found on packing slip) with all returns.

If you feel that any of our products do not perform to Harris' high standards, please let us know and we'll give you a full refund or credit, whichever you prefer.

P.V.P. Numbers
Plant Variety Protection certificates have been applied for or issued to some varieties in this catalog. Unauthorized propagation of P.V.P. designated varieties is prohibited by the U.S. Plant Variety Protection Act.
Disease Note
Many flower and vegetable species are generally susceptible to several serious seed and soil-borne diseases. Our seed has been carefully grown, treated and/or tested to prevent seed-borne infection. Please note that these best efforts cannot guarantee absolute freedom from disease infestation, nor will the prevent soil-borne or weed-borne organisms from attacking plants during growth. We try to offer superior varieties with resistance/tolerance to many diseases.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BUYERS:
Harris Seeds, Garden Trends, Inc., hereby states, as its sole and express warranty, that seeds it sells will conform to only those label descriptions that are required by State and Federal Seed Law. THE HARRIS SEEDS COMPANY DISCLAIMS AND MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, NOR ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OTHERWISE. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY STATE AND FEDERAL SEED LAW, ALL SEEDS ARE SOLD AS IS (TEL QUEL).
For dealers reselling Harris seeds, it is their responsibility to inform their customers of Harris Seeds conditions of sale and limited warranty.
The Harris Seeds Company further disclaims any liability for any and all alleged seed-borne disease losses, whether the alleged infection is seed borne or secondary-caused. Harris Seeds makes no representation regarding the seeds it sells as free from seed-borne disease.
Purchasers' exclusive compensation for loss or damage arising from purchase or use of seeds from Harris Seeds shall be limited to an amount equal to the purchase price of such seeds. There shall not be included in any amount for incidental or consequential damages, nor for amounts expended in using or growing such seeds, nor for harvesting the produce of such seeds. This limitation of liability shall be applicable to any claim presented to HARRIS SEEDS, GARDEN TRENDS, INC., regardless of the legal theory forming the basis of such claim and whether such theory involves negligence, contractual liability, or otherwise. All orders accepted subject to availability.
These disclaimers or warranties and limitations of liability of the Harris Seeds Company may not be altered or amended, except by an instrument, in writing, signed by an authorized representative as designated by the President and CEO.
By acceptance of the seeds, the buyer acknowledges the disclaimers and limitations herein described are conditions of sale and that they constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding warranty or any other liability.
Any claim resulting from the use of Harris' seeds must be presented to the Harris Seeds Company within 30 days after any defect or other basis of such claim was discovered or should have been discovered during the growing season in which the seed was purchased. The Harris Seeds Company will not assume any responsibility after the above-mentioned 30-day period.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of the incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
IT IS EXPRESSLY UNDERSTOOD THAT ANY TECHNICAL ADVICE BY HARRIS SEEDS COMPANY IN REFERENCE TO THE USE OF ITS PRODUCTS IS GIVEN GRATIS. FURTHERMORE, HARRIS SEEDS COMPANY DOES NOT ASSUME ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ADVICE GIVEN OR THE RESULTS OBTAINED.
